The Algerian theatre, like the other Arab theatre, has always try to find its lost voice within the dilemma of conflict between the originality and contemporary in order to pedigree the persistent Algerian theatrical phenomenon.

Abdelkader ALLOULA was one of the pioneers who have tried to renew the Algerian by his researches and studies.

The question then is : did ALLOULA succeed to create an original theatre work, based on the culture and popular heritage of the Algerian society; fulfilling the requirements of the playwriting in the horizon? Did he put his fingerprints to pedigree the Algerian theatre phenomenon? What are the manifestations of the popular heritage in the play ‘’El Adjouad ‘’ and what are its innovation manifestations.
