In this study, we tried to uncover the myth of ASAF and NAYLA in a poem form the contemporary Algerian poet “SAWKY RIGI” the research in the field of myth has become fertile material for creativity by making it a fundamental basis in the structure of the myth an important issue to reveal what he want he seeks to express his emotional crisis while formulating the text according to influential aesthetic tools, following in our study this descriptive analytical method, after which the appropriate method in this study, and accordingly we have drawn a systematic plan that we started with an introduction in which we held a discussion of the topic and then we touched upon basic concepts, arriving at the subject of the myth and how the poet invested it in expressing his emotional crisis, shedding light in the end on the aesthetics of poetic rhythm
