Abstract EN

This study aims to know the role that civil society plays in exercising and activating local governance, through a set of mechanisms that it exercises through participation with the aim of achieving local development and combating and drying up the sources of corruption, which enhances the principles of transparency and accountability, hence the importance of civil society organizations through its impact on Development events within the community under state law 7/12 and municipal law 10/11.

This requires the necessity of interaction between the state and its citizens in addition to the strength of civil society, which provides a fertile environment for achieving economic and social development and reducing the manifestations of corruption to the maximum extent possibl.
