يهدف مجلس الأمن لمكافحة أي عمل يمثل إرهابا دوليا أو إي عمل من سبيل المساعدة على ارتكاب جريمة الإرهاب الدولي وفق مجموعة من الإجراءات إما في شكل إصدار قرارات منددة للإرهاب و مجرمة له أو عن طريق تطبيق الصلاحيات الممنوحة له وفق الفصل السابع من ميثاق الأمم المتحدة مع ضرورة التقيد و مراعاة التدرج في استخدام هذه الصلاحيات حرصا على تحقيق حماية حقوق الإنسان
Abstract EN
The Security Council aims to combat any act that constitutes international terrorism or any act of assistance in the crime of international terrorism following a range of measures, whether in the form of issuing resolutions condemning terrorism and criminality or by applying the powers granted to it by Chapter VII of the Un Charter, with the need to adhere to and observe the gradual use of these powers to achieve the protection of human rights.
