خلق التنافس البريطاني-الأمريكي الهادف للحصول على امتياز نفطي في الكويت، إلى تأسيس شركة نفط الكويت المحدودة المملوكة مناصفة بين الدولتين تلك الشركة التي مارست نشاطها ابتداء من عام 1934، و سيطرة على نفط الكويت مدة طويلة، فضلا عن الشركات الأخرى التي حصلت على امتياز نفطي لها في الكويت، إلا أن حكومة الكويت لم تستسلم و بالإمكان ملاحظة ذلك من بنود الاتفاقية النفطية مع شركة النفط العربية المتحدة (اليابان) التي كان للحكومة الكويتية النسبة الأكبر (57%) من أرباح الشركة، و انضمام الكويت إلى منظمة (أوابك).
Abstract EN
The Anglo -American competition to obtain oil privileges in Kuwait lead to establishing Kuwait Oil Limited Company which was evenly owned by the United States and Britain.
The company that controlled Kuwait oil for a long period of time started its business in 1934,In addition to other companies that have obtained an oil concession in Kuwait the Kuwaiti qovernment did not surrender and it can be noted from the terms of the oil agreement with the united arab oil Company japan which the Kuwaiti qovernment had the Iargest percentage (57%) of the company's profits and K uwait's joining (OPEC)
