Abstract EN

The research aimed to identify the challenges facing the Saudi family, detect the role of the media in addressing these challenges from the perspective of husbands and wives and introduce suggestions to reinforce the role of the Saudi media in addressing the current challenges facing the Saudi family.

In order to achieve these goals, the descriptive method was used.

The questionnaire was the tool of the study.

It has been applied to a group consisting of (257) Saudi husbands and wives who live in Jeddah.

The research resulted in recognizing a list of challenges facing the Saudi family consisting of 60 phrases.

It also found that husbands and wives believe that the role played by media in addressing current challenges facing the Saudi family from their point of view was scored (sometimes).

In the light of the results, the research introduced a set of recommendations and suggestions.
