Abstract EN

Praise be to God, and May blessings and peace be upon the Messenger of God, his family, companions, and those who are guided by his guidance.

Islam has placed concern for health at the forefront of its priorities, and has made preserving the human self as one of the five faculties that the Sharia is based on preserving and caring for it.

Hence, evidence was available from the Holy Qur’an and the Prophet’s Sunnah calling for cleanliness and purity, avoiding disease factors and causes, confronting wrong dietary behaviors, prohibiting evil, and permitting good things .Sharia came to include the goodness of the body as it included the goodness of souls, and the Holy Qur’an contained a method for preventing diseases before their occurrence .The features of this preventive approach appear in two aspects: protecting the Muslim himself, then protecting other Muslims.

The features of the treatment approach appears in two aspects: spiritual treatment and physical therapy .

Hence, the nature of the research necessitated that it come under the title: (Prevention of epidemics and their treatment: a Quranic perspective study).

It will be tackled through an introduction, and two topics.

As for the introduction, it explains the research topic, its importance, the reasons for choosing it, and the scientific method used in it.

The first topic: It deals with Quranic directives for disease prevention, through: The first requirement: protecting the Muslim himself from diseases.

The second requirement: The responsibility of the Muslim towards protection of others against diseases.

The second topic: It presents Quranic guidelines for treatment after injury, through: The first requirement: spiritual treatment.

The second requirement: physical therapy.

Conclusion: It contains the most important results of the search.
