Abstract EN

The aim of the current research is to investigate the impact of employing experiential learning through the edmodo electronic educational platform in teaching home economics to develop active open thinking and change leadership skills among secondgrade middle school students.

The research sample consisted of (58) students in the second grade of middle school, and they were divided into two groups, one of which is experimental (28) female students, and a control group of (30) female students.

To achieve the research objectives, the home economics lessons were planned according to the stages of experience learning and presented through toolsthe educational platform "Edmodo", and the research tools represented by the Open Thinking Scale (Flexible Thinking - Defining Belief), and the behavior test in change leadership situations (self-efficacy, problem-solving and decision-making, conflict management, stress and crisis management, teamwork) were prepared, And their application to the two research groups (experimental and control) before and after the application of the research experiment.

The results of the research resulted in the effectiveness of employing experiential learning through the edmodo educational platform in developing active open thinking and change leadership skills among the pupils of the experimental group compared to the performance of the pupils of the control group.

The results also showed a positive direct correlation between the growth of open thinking and the development of change leadership skills in favor of the experimental group students, The research recommended the importance of including active open thinking and change leadership skills in home economics curricula, Preparing courses for female teachers on how to use experiential learning and using technological environments effectively in promoting different teaching methods.
