The current study aims to detect the growth rate, and the loss of electronic reference citations, in articles in (cybrarians) journal from 2004 to 2016 , As a model whose results can be applied to the library and information science journals, The study was based on the bibliometric approach, with the use of link analysis technique called webometrics, which aims to measure the quantitive and qualitative aspects of the web, and the most prominent results of the study were that there are 2509 electronic reference citations, defined by 45,6% out of a total of (5503) citations of the study sample, and the most common types of extensions, are .com&.org (1514 URLS) defined by 60.44% of the total sample size, while the HTTP404 error, was one of the most common type of error, that occurred in the URLS of electronic citations that are not accessible (183 URLS) defined by 42.06% of the total number of errors, and The average half-life of electronic citations in cybrarians journal was 8,9537 years, approximately (9 years),and at the end of the study the researcher recommends that the authors should keep or backup the electronic sources of information they rely on in their study, and to provide publishers with the original electronic resources of information the relied on in their research study.
