Abstract EN

The study aimed at identifying the level of satisfaction of the students of the library and information program at the University of South Valley on the effectiveness of the educational and physical facilities in support of the program in the light of the requirements of academic accreditation and their proposals to develop the program and improve the level of satisfaction and to achieve the objectives of the study used descriptive analytical method and used the questionnaire as a tool to collect data distributed on four axes.

The sample of the study consisted of (306) students from the library and information program at the University of South Valley by 30% of the four teams.

The results of the study showed a high level of satisfaction of the students in the study sample on the effectiveness of the courses offered in the program in terms of coverage of the lectures for all subjects included in the course by (65%).

The students were also encouraged to self-study by searching for information outside the university book, (61.4%).

The students' opinions were somewhat satisfied with the laboratories and training workshops available in the program, which amounted to 50.3%.

The study presented several suggestions, including updating the list of library and information programs at South Valley University to suit the recent developments in specialization and improving the nature of services Provided to the library of the college and work to develop them and provide them with modern references to meet the needs of beneficiaries and the need to pay attention to the laboratories and training rooms of the program and provide them with computers to suit the numbers of students in addition to activating the role of quality assurance unit at the college and the university to follow up students' assessment of the academic situation and work on its development.
