Abstract EN

Professor Abdul Razak Ahmad Al-Sanhouri believes that the legal texts which contained in the draft of the new Egyptian civil law have self-entity, making it independent from it's sources and merged to codify existing self-contained.

Therefore, we do not need to return to its foreign sources in case of the application and interpretation of selected texts, Al- Sanhouri talks about two important issues in this subject, the first in the separation of selected texts from their sources and the second, that the results of its fusion.Among the most important results of the research, are the following :- 1) Al- Sanhouri tried to link the Arab civil laws, with, Western laws.

2) It is very difficult to reach to the interpretation and application of the selected legal texts without reference to its original sources.

3) The difficulty of achieving cohesion and harmony between the texts of civil law, if it's imported from different sources and different legal schools.

4) The result of facilitating the interpretation of the selected texts cannot be achieved in practice.
