This is due to the fact that Allah asks people to model themselves on Prophet Mohammed(PBUH).

This requires a full knowledge of the tails of his honest life.

This knowledge shows Muslims the right and honest application of the principles of Islam as a whole as being incarnated in his life as an ideal example Imam Ali bin AbiTalib's(PBUH) also emphasized this idea and urged people to regard the prophet as a model in all aspects of their life.
