Abstract EN

Up to a recent time, a country's place was determined by its military force.

However, thingshave drastically changed for now it is determined by the strength of its economy.

Economic strengthis gained from different aspects such as the well-thought of configuration for an optimal utilization ofthe landscape that would allow use in different economic sectors.

Hence, there is the interventionalpolicy by the government to ensure the avoidance of neglecting the landscape and coincidences.

Onthe contrary, it is emphasizing on planning all activities related to it.

Therefore, the developmentalpolicies are part of the general policies of any given countries in order to create a sense of fairnessin term of development within different landscapes and communities while taking into considerationeconomic, social and cultural differences.

Consequently, our aim is to answer the following question: how can the national plan of regional development contribute in the protection of the environment topreserve it for the current and future generations? To answer the question, we thought it necessary to consider the environmental principles thathave been included within the national plan of regional development and sustainable development (first chapter) starting with principles of individual aspects ( preserving the biodiversity, protectingnatural resources from deteriorating) to principles of public aspects ( principle of informing andsharing- principle of precaution) so that in the second chapter ( the different participants in thenational plan of regional and sustainable development to protect environment) highlights thesupervision organizations ( council) beside the interventional organizations ( centers and districts)
