Abstract EN

Political and social history in the Maghreb Islamic during the intermediate period resulted in a series of reformist movements that took place in the Muslim community throughout the time and place, aiming at the correct reduction of the Islamic reality on the reality of the population, aimed at removing the manifestations of corruption that is urgent to that reality.

Among these reformist experiments that have emerged in the magreb environment is the Mehdi Ben Toumert movement, known as the Mouhaddin Movement, which took place and speed up in the early 6th century AH, and produced the Almohad state as one of the greatest nations in Islamic politic's history.

From this, my research paper simplfid aims to introduce this religion and politic reform movement led by Ibn Tomart, and the foundations on which it was based, in an attempt to change the political and religious situation of this important geographical space.

The study also examined the implications of change, both on the ideological and religious levels, the unique experience led by one of the most famous men of political history in the Maghreb in middle ages.
