Abstract EN

This article examines the reality of research centers in Arab countries.

Despite the increase and diversification of the specialties of research centers, this multiplicity has not been accompanied by an improvement in the performance of the different official sectors of these countries.

Consequently, this article aims to analyze the reality of the Arab centers, and to seek the reasons which prevent their effective participation in the development of public policies, the conditions to give them credibility.

So the important thing is not the number of centers, but rather the fulfillment of the necessary conditions which give credibility to centers.
