Algeria recognized the importance of small and medium-sized enterprises and their effective role in achieving development in various areas, due to the characteristics of these institutions and from this point of view this study came with the aim to highlighting the developmental role of them, despite the difficulties and challenges that negatively affected their stability and continuity, bases on descriptive analytical approach, and we have reached through this study that small and medium-sized enterprises play a pivotal role in the development process, whether on the economic, social, cultural, political, or even environmental and social levels, which is what requires the authorities to focus On this type of institution by supporting them.
