Abstract EN

In view of the importance of the security factor in the public policy of any country, this study, titled "The Logic of Border Security in Algeria", seeks to examine ways to activate security policy in Algeria in general and border security in particular, and that through research in the historical process (socio Economic) that led to the formation of the Algerian land borders.

The study also reviews the most prominent security challenges that threaten the Algerian borders.

The study also seeks to evaluate the security policy pursued by Algeria in order to address various security threats, especially in its asymmetric dimension, Finally, the study presents a set of recommendations that would enhance border security in Algeria, like every academic work, the study uses a conceptual framework to show the intended meaning of the various central concepts used in the analysis.
