Abstract EN

The city of Seraghna Castle is one of the middle cities, which has witnessed a rapid demographic development reflected in the expansion of the urban sphere, which resulted in a set of environmental and urban problems, as the city's population exceeded 95, 000 people, according to the 2014 census.

It can be summarized in three challenges, economic, social and environmental.

Thus, through this study, we will seek to evaluate a number of completed development projects to overcome the challenges that the city defines and highlight the local development requirements, which are mainly evident in the interest in the social aspect, realizing its importance in development and heritage preservation, taking into account the environmental aspect in various public policies and enhancing the economic attractiveness of the city.
