Abstract EN

In this study, we attempt to address one of the fundamental problematics related to the process of state-building, represented in the problematic relationship between the Islamic religion and the State.

The repercussions of the Arab social movement and the challenges that have emerged from it, all revolve around this problematic which has always been the main obstacle to the State- building process in the Arab area from the Independence until the post-Arab social movement period where the emergence of Islamic currents work on the islamization of nationale state in the context of state building/rebuildng process as a necessity, but in the other hand arise currents against the project of islamization of state, seek to secularize the state and intimidate from the project of Islamization of the state, which for their is nothing more than a religious tyranny.

According to this view, we look in this study to the centrality of the state or power in the thought of the Islamic movements and also Its importance to the Islamic religion according to their view, Then we try to address the view of the Islamic movements of the national state, concenting on those who rely on the concept of the Islamic state in their peaceful political activity, And then we look if there any possibility to islamize the State in the Arab area, and the possibility of compatibility the state islamization programs with the foundations of democracy.
