This study deals with a subject related to the phenomenon of illegal immigration.

The later is considered one of the most sensitive issues in the international level.

Thus, Mexico is among the most countries that suffered from this problem.

It is related to some factors and motives that make thousands of Mexicans risk their lives each year in order to reach United States of America.

For this reason, Mexico joins NAFTA in 1994 in order to achieve development first in all its dimensions, and to solve some social problems as illegal immigration.

and in this regard, the Mexican President, who signed the agreement, Carlos Salinas de Gortari said that "NAFTA will be a unique opportunity to the transformation of Mexico and opportunity to enter the first world.

" Indeed, Mexico work with its partners under the NAFTA framework to find solutions to illegal immigration's phenomenon.

However, this attempt didn't get success in reality.

However, despite its decline in the recent years, illegal immigration still continues up to day despite all the attempt to reduce or to stop it.
