Abstract EN

The algerian constitutional institution under the 2016 amendment, enshrined the constitution of the National Council for Human Rights as an independent national body, in order to bring its work into line with international standars by general assembly of United Nations in its resolution 1993, after adopting Paris principles that inclued of standard criteria to followed in the establishement of sush bodies, the council has an extensive and harmonious composition and enjoys many powers in the field of promotion and protection for rights and freedoms, Especially receive and examine complaints of human rights violations, the council has handling these complaints through investigation and referral it makes it a Quasi- judicial body, this would enhance its position in the Algerian constitutional system.
