The subject of identity occupies a considerable role in culture and thought and in the studies of political science, law and society, especially in light of the controversy that has been rising for more than a quarter of a century, both at the internal and international levels within multiple societies and identities or in the context of international conflicts and regional.

This study presents the subject of identity in its conceptual framework, as well as the various identities (cultural, historical, political, religious, personal and collective identity).
