Article Title: Conceptual framework for sustainable developmentThe economic life has always been a crucial part of any nation, but nowadays, it has become one of the top priorities in of the modern world.

This growth in importance is due mainly to the change at the level of circumstances and potentials on an international scale.

Thus, countries are classified into productive, manufacturing and/or consumer.

Consequently, the strong foundations of a country are determined by it economic environment and the extent of its development.

On the other hand, it is also associated with the increasing number of environmental and social issues that are wide spread in both the developed countries and the developing ones.

These facts highlight the relation between sustainable development and economic corporations' activities for each has its importance.

This works aims at answering the following question: What is the theoretical framework of sustainable development? As an answer, (first) the coining and the notion of sustainable development will be discussed followed by (second) its prospects and aims.
