Our research aims to highlight the various financial challenges facing the startups sector in the recent crisis posed by the COVID-19 epidemic, identify and the overall global policy and measures to help it meet these challenges.

to that end, we combined rapid quantitative and qualitative research into our studies; to gather comprehensive data on those challenges, we have designed qualitative research by adopting the startup ecosystem perspective and, to combine globally applicable policies, we have adopted quantitative research for a sample of 20 countries.

the results indicate that those policies are not appropriate for startups, especially with regard to subsidies, so our study recommends that startups' fiscal trends be readjusted in a way that responds to current conditions in the economy as a whole is going through.
