Abstract EN

Tourism Guidance means the leadership of tourism trips, management and organization and implementation of tourist programs for the tourist group and accompanying them and their care since their arrival until they leave the country of destination of tourism and here raises the question of what is the role of the tour guide in the case of the presence of people with special needs within the tourist group and how to deal with them during the stages of the tour? The research aims to introduce the tourist guide and the most important ethics that he should be characterized by and what measures should be taken with the tourists with special needs during the tourist trip, through a field study that included 22 tourism and travel companies in the holy city of Karbala in which 30 questionnaires were distributed to the guides Tourists working in these companies, and the research found that the duties of a tourist guide differ according to the type of disability.

The most important recommendations of the research are to urge tourism and travel companies to include their programs on trips for people with special needs and to revitalize this type of tourism in Iraq, as it has economic and humanitarian returns.
