This research examined the comparison between the performance of the multivariateparameter control (T^2), and the multivariate non-parametric signal panel (SN^2), byimplementing simulation experiments in the cases of multivariate natural distributionand multivariate (t) distribution and by adopting sample sizes (15, 25, 50), and thecomparison was made on the basis of two criteria: convergence distribution for theupper limits and the average range length.

The preference of the non-parametric signalplate (SN^2) was reached in the case of multivariate (t) distribution, while thepreference of the Heinlink board (T^2) was in the case of multivariate normaldistribution, and then the results of simulation experiments were applied to data relatedto chemical tests and physical water for drinking water in Baghdad Water Department/ Karkh Laboratory.
