The main objective of the study was to determine the nature of the relationship between ICT addiction and behavioral problems in a sample of middle school students, The research problem is determined by revealing the nature of the relationship between ICT addiction and communication and behavioral problems in a sample of middle school students, ) Of the students of the preparatory stage of different economic and social levels, the sample was collected from Gharbia governorate in a purposeful shell manner, the field application was carried out in November 2017, The research tool consisted of: ICT addiction, a questionnaire of behavioral problems for students of the second cycle of basic education(all prepared by the researchers), The main of results:The existence of a correlation between the addiction of information technology and communication among students in the preparatory stage dimensions and behavioral problems in their dimensions,The existence of a correlation between both the addiction of information technology and communication among students in the preparatory stage dimensions and behavioral problems in its dimensions and some variables of social and economic level (student arrangement - father and mother education - sex - the number of brothers - the work of the mother),There were no statistically significant differences between the average of middle school students, the sample of the research in ICT addiction and their behavioral problems according to the location of residence ("rural" - "sex" "male - female"),There were statistically significant differences between the average of middle school students, the sample of research in ICT addiction and their behavioral problems according to the work of the mother "for the benefit of the children of working mothers,There is a statistically significant difference in the information and communication technology (ICT) addiction of students of the second cycle of basic educationand their behavioral problems according to the time of beginning of employment in favor of the high level (more than 5 years).
