Arabic Abstract

أجريت الدراسة بهدف تحديد علاقة التشكل الوراثي للجين IGFBP-3 بإنتاج الحليب والخصب وذلك باستخدام 60 نعجة عواسي عراقية مرباة في محطة البحوث الاولى و التابعة لكلية الزراعة – جامعة المثنى.

استخدمت تقانة تفاعل البلمرة المتسلسل (PCR) لمضاعفة القطعة المدروسة من الجين وتم تحديد التشكل الوراثي باستخدام تقانة (PCR-RFLP) و الانزيم القاطع HaeIII و قد اظهرت النتائج وجود طفرة مفردة ضمن المنطقة المدروسة ادت الى وجود تشكل وراثي وبتركيبين هما GG و CC وتماثل التكرار الاليلي للاليلين اذ بلغ 0.50 لكل منهما.

اظهرت النتائج وجود تأثير معنوي (P<0.05) للتركيب الوراثي على صفة انتاج الحليب اذ بلغ70.76 و 74.20 كغم للمجموعتين الحاملة للتركيبين الوراثيين GG و CC على التوالي, كما بينت النتائج عدم وجود فروقات معنوية على طول الموسم والذي بلغ 109.38 و 109.46 يوم على التوالي.

تأثر عدد المواليد في البطن الواحدة معنويا P<0.05) بالتشكل الوراثي للجين IGFBP-3 وكان اعلى عدد مواليد لدى الافراد الحاملة للتركيب الوراثي CC (1.20 مولود) وادناه لدى الافراد الحاملة للتركيب الوراثي GG (1.13).

English Abstract

This study was conducted to investigate the relationship of IGFBP-3 gene polymorphism with total milk production (TMP) and fecundity by using 60 Iraqi Awassi ewes in the First Research Station/College of Agriculture/ AL-Muthanna University.

Polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) was used to detect polymorphisms of IGFBP-3 gene in this sheep breed.

Results of gene which encloses the HaeIII endonuclease restriction enzyme showed two genotypes (GG and CC).

The frequencies of the G and NC alleles differed significantly (P˂0.01) in the samples, were 0.50 and 0.50 respectively.

The results showed the ence of hetero genotype (GC).

Results showed no significant effect (P<0.05) of genotypes on TMP which was 70.76 and 74.20 kg for GG and CC genotypes respectively while no significant effect of genotypes on the lactation period which was 109.38 and 109.46 day for GG and CC genotypes respectively.

Litter size was affected significantly (P˂0.05) by IGFBP-3 genotype, the highest litter size was in CC group (1.20 lamb) while the least litter size was in GG group (1.13 lamb).
