Isolation results from red, yellow and green rotted apples showed presence of Alternaria alternate and A.
kikuchiana , which cause black rot and Penicillium expansum and penicillium italicum.
which cause green rot.
The pathogenicity tests showed that P.
italicum was the most affected fungus for red and yellow apples, Formalin treatment showed high efficiency in reducing fruit rot followed by topaz treatment and alcohol treatment in reducing fruit rot which are significantly different compared to treatment with liquid paraffin
