Many developing countries face the problem of the large size of the informal sector, as some estimates indicate that the size of the informal sector in the economies of developing countries represents a high percentage ranging between 30-70% of the gross national product of these countries, which means that a large proportion of Economic activities in developing countries are run at a less than optimal level for operation and at a high cost, which limits the utilization of the available economic resources and productive capacities.
