English Abstract

The study aims to study and measure the impact of agricultural policies on the contributor to the growth of agricultural output in Iraq and Egypt.

The research is based on the hypothesis that agricultural policies have different effects on agricultural output.

The research also relied on the descriptive approach with quantitative analysis using multiple regression analysis.

The research included a time series of twenty-two years (1995-2016), where the method of the lower squares was used to determine the effect of some independent economic and agricultural indicators on the variable dependent on the rate of growth of agricultural output while the independent variables representing agricultural policies (size of agricultural loans, For the agricultural sector, agricultural economic exposure policies, the accumulation of fixed capital in the agricultural sector, the exchange rate), in order to reach more accurate results, and the most important conclusions of the research that the agricultural policies used in Iraq during the study period did not Based on these conclusions, the researcher recommends adopting appropriate credit and investment policies, especially in light of the agricultural initiative through which huge amounts of money were disbursed, increased support for this sector and work on to follow a policy of economic openness and to have a suitable agricultural policy through the imposition of customs taxes on goods entering the country contribute to the prices are appropriate for the domestic product and not compete.
