Abstract EN

The study aims to employ the knowledge management approach in a virtual training environment and its impact on developing the skills of digital content creation among the teaching staff and being satisfied with them.

The researcher prepared the training content in the form of educational elements.

Six sessions were organized using a virtual training environment (Blackboard), and then he applied the experiment to the sample members consisting of 16 staff members; 8 members each group.

The research presented a theoretical framework for two of the most important approaches and tools of knowledge management (knowledge building / brainstorming), and an applicable framework for educational technology research and employing them in a virtual training platform.

He also presented a model for the life cycle of each type of knowledge management tools identified in this research (knowledge building / brainstorming).

The results showed that the two approaches (knowledge building / brainstorming) of knowledge management positively affect the development of knowledge aspects in the design of digital content, its production, and the degree of satisfaction towards it.

The study found statistically significant differences between the averages of the scores for the pre and post application of the cognitive achievement tests for digital content design skills, and for the digital product evaluation scale in favor of the post application of the two groups (building knowledge) and (brainstorming).

The results also indicated that there was a statistically significant difference between the average cognitive achievement of digital content design skills in favor of the first experimental group (knowledge building), and there was no difference between either of the two experimental groups in the post evaluation of digital content creation.

As for the satisfaction towards the knowledge management approach, the results showed that there was no statistically significant difference between the averages of the scores of the pre and post applications, and there were no statistically significant differences between any of the two experimental groups in the post measurement of the satisfaction scale towards the two types of knowledge management.

Based on these results, the researcher recommends the importance of knowledge management approaches, especially (knowledge building / brainstorming); considered as two of the innovations in educational technology.

He also recommends having more interest in creating virtual training platforms based on (building knowledge / brainstorming) approaches, according to the elements and components identified by the current research, with the need to adopt knowledge management as one of the modern trends and try to employ it in virtual training environments.

Finally, the researcher recommends conducting more research on other knowledge management tools and styles, and their impact on the trainees' acquisition / development of their skill for generating creative ideas and applying them in various fields.
