Abstract EN

The current research aimed at developing the creative writing skills of first grade secondary students, using a strategy based on literary awareness and writing processes approaches, To achieve this goal, the researcher prepared a test to measure creative writing skills.

The research was applied to (69) female students in two schools selected purposefully, distributed in two groups: an experimental group consisted of (35) students, was taught through a strategy based on literary awareness and writing processes approaches, and a control group consisted of (34) received traditional instruction.

The findings of the research confirmed the effectiveness of the strategy based on literary awareness and writing processes approaches in the development of the creative writing skills among first grade secondary students.
