Abstract EN

The current study aimed at finding out the relationship between tolerance and Big Five Personality Traits (the five-factor model (FFM)) of Al-Qunfudah University College students.

To achieve the objective of the study, the measure of tolerance and the measure of Big Five Personality Traits have been applied upon a sample consisting of 331 randomly selected students of the University College.

The researcher also used the measure of Big Five Personality Traits prepared by Costa and Mccrae 1992 A.

D, and Tareeb Al-Ansari 1997 A.

Accordingly, the most outstanding results he has reached; have been as follows: Tolerance level of the individuals of study sample has been average, however self-tolerance has been high-level with average ( 3.34 ), Second in rank has been situational tolerance that has come in a high level with average ( 3.41 ).

However, third in rank has been tolerance of others that has been average with ( 3.05 ).

Factors from the most advanced to the least advanced in Al-Qunfudah University College students are as followsConscientiousness, Extraversion, Neuroticism, Openness to experience, Then, Agreeableness.
