The aim of the current research was to identify the difficulties of learning to read aloud to students in the third grade of primary education, and to treat them through a program based on phonological awareness The study sample consisted of two groups, one experimental (30) and the other (30) students.

The equivalence was achieved in terms of variables such as age of pupils, previous reading experience, social and economic status, The researcher prepared a list of the difficulties of learning to read aloud in the third grade students, a diagnostic test of these difficulties, A program based on voice awareness, and a booklet of activities, all applied in the present study.

The researcher also applied the mental capacity test, prepared by Farouk Mousa (2003).

The results showed that there was a statistically significant difference at the level of (0, 05) between the average scores of the two groups; experimental and control in the post-application to test the diagnosis of difficulties of learning to read hard, for the benefit of students in the experimental group, Between the median scores of the experimental group in the tribal and remote applications, on the test of diagnosing the difficulties of learning to read aloud, in favor of the post-application, which indicates the effectiveness of the program based on phonological awareness in the treatment of difficulties learning to read brightly in the third grade primary school.
