أثر استخدام استراتيجية الصف المقلوب في التحصيل الدراسي في اللغة الإنجليزية لدى طالبات الصف الأول ثانوي في مدينة الطائف

Abstract EN

The study aimed at examining the effect of the use of the Flipped Classroom strategy on the achievement of the first grade secondary students in English language.

In order to achieve this, the researcher followed the quiz-experimental based on the design of the two groups: experimental and control, and designed a test for the academic achievement in English.

The study sample consisted of (44) female students, who were divided into two groups: the experimental group: (22) students who were taught using the Flipped Classroom strategy, and the control group included (22) students who were taught in the traditional way.

The data were analyzed using t- test for two independent groups and the calculation of the effect size calculation.

The study findings showed that: There were statistically significant differences between the means of the experimental group and the control group in the post achievement test at the levels of knowledge, understanding, application, analysis, synthesis, evaluation and total score.

The effect of the Flipped Classroom strategy was significant on enhancing achievement in all levels and the total score.

In the light of the findings of the study, some recommendations were made.
