Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the orientations of rural youth towards migration, and to identify the most important problems resulting from the migration of rural youth.

The village of Mit al-Karma, TalkhaCenter, was chosen to conduct this study with a random sample of 110 respondents.

Data were collected using a personal interview questionnaire, and the frequency, percentages, and weighted average were used in the analysis of these data.

The study reached a number of results, the most important of which were: 1- One of the most important social reasons for immigration is "job demand", with a weighted average of 48.2.

2- One of the most important economic reasons for immigration is “getting better job offers, getting a better life” with a weighted average of 49.3.

3- That one of the most important cultural reasons for migration is “immigration, by which the immigrant acquires new customs and traditions, ” with a weighted average of 45.5.

4- One of the most important social consequences of immigration, which came at a large rate of 71.8% , is "improving the material and living standards.

" 5- One of the most important economic consequences of immigration, which came at a large rate of 63.6% , is "the shortage of the workforce in some countries and the increase in unemployment in others.

" 6- One of the most important cultural results of immigration, which came at a large rate of 66.4% , is "the increase in the scientific capabilities of people who study there.

" 7- One of the most important results related to youth trends towards immigration, which came in a large percentage of 70.9% , is "Many young people seriously consider any offer of immigration outside the country.

" 8- That one of the most important social problems of immigration is "psychological stress and social disintegration", with a weighted average of 40, 7.

9- One of the most important economic problems of immigration is the "high number of migrant craftsmen and farmers" with a weighted average of 37.5.

10- One of the most important cultural problems of immigration is “being affected by the civilization of the country of immigration and its language, ” with a weighted average of 36.5.

11- One of the most important migration risks known to the sample, with a weighted average of 42.7, is "exposure to death by drowning.
