Today's societies are characterized by continuous change as a result of technological, economic, social and cognitive developments, which have forced more effort to develop, advance, collect knowledge and transform the society from industrial to technological and knowledge.

And that knowledge is a prerequisite for the development in all areas, including education, especially university, because it is one of the important fields of life in which the quality of interest in all areas of society, because of the direct relationship between the quality of higher education and social and economic growth.

Which called for attention to the higher education and improve it by satisfying the needs of students and motivation for faculty members and administrators on a continuous basis, in order to improve the educational outputs.

In recent years, higher education has seen a radical shift in teaching methods, styles, techniques and fields in response to the explosion of knowledge, increasing demand for it and the phenomenon of globalization, which in turn has led to the emergence of many new concepts and terms such as knowledge economy, knowledge management, Expert, Sigma 6 6σ and other terms that need to be clarified in order to make use of them to improve institutions of higher education as an attempt to pursue excellence.
