Abstract EN

The current research aimed to determine the reality of the teacher of vocational education in the second cycle schools of the basic education in Dakahlia governorate, that to put a theoretical framework about the vocational education conceptual framework and the teacher's intellectual foundations in order to reveal the reality of that teacher on the field.

For that, the researcher used the descriptive approach and designed a questionnaire as a research tool to achieve this goal, then applied to a random sample (329) of the teacher of vocational education (Practical fields) in the second cycle schools in Dakahlia governorate.

The main results of the research were: the teacher of vocational education is the teacher of the three fields (industrial, agricultural, and home economics).

The male teachers teach the (industrial, agricultural) fields and the female teachers teach the home economics field.

The reality of the teacher of vocational education in the second cycle schools of the basic education in Dakahlia governorate lacks some points such as: the mastering of the teachers of vocational education to the teaching skills of the subject, the understanding of the curriculum's objectives and the implementation of them, and the using of modern methods and techniques of education.

Finally, the research presented a set of proposals to improve the reality of the teacher of vocational education in the second cycle schools of the basic education and to help him to achieve the objectives of the subject.
