The study aimed to identify the status of the positional leadership at private schools Managers in Zarqa Governorate, as well as to recognize the relationship of the positional leadership in enhancing the job satisfaction of teachers.

The study aimed to find out if there were individual differences of statistical significance in the respondents for their personal and functional variables.

The problem of the study was identified in the main question: ”What is the relationship of positional leadership to job satisfaction from the point of view of teachers in private schools? ” Six sub-questions stem from this question.

The analytical descriptive method was used to monitor the studied phenomenon, also to determine its current reality, and then collect and analyze the data were obtained from the study sample.

The study sample was in a random sample consisting of (249) teachers from private schools in Zarqa Governorate in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

The variables of the study consisted of two variables: the dependent variable which included the positional leadership and its relation to the job satisfaction of the teachers, and the independent variable which included the scientific qualification levels, gender and experience variable.

The study tools represented by questionnaire included two main points: the first one was the positional leadership methods while the second one was the job satisfaction of the teachers.

The study results showed that there is a near-consensus on the approval of the use of positional leadership by the managers.

As for the second point, the results showed that there is a percent of job satisfaction among private school teachers.

This little percent of satisfaction is not significantly different depending on the type, experience or qualification.

Therefore, we can say that the methods of positional leadership significantly affect on the job satisfaction of Teachers in private schools.
