Abstract EN

This study addresses the doctrinal misconceptions in the Mandaean book entitledGinza Rba.

The study consists of an introduction, a preamble, six chapters and a conclusion.

The preamble introduces definitions of the Mandaeans and their holy book.

The first chapter addresses the description of God as ancient.

The second chapter addresses Prophet Adam's creation by the Angels.

The third chapter tackles the incident of the Angels breathing of their spirits into Adam.

The fourth chapter identifies the Angels of Hell and their prostration unto Adam.

The fifth chapter addresses Ginza Rba's defamation of Adam.

The sixth chapter proposes relevant solutions.

The methodological approach adopted in the study is inductive, critical and analytical.

The conclusion presents the most important findings which were reached by the study; namely it is unacceptable to describe God as ancient and the conception that the Angels created Adam is invalid; this is because this assumption doubts and questions the oneness of God who is the Creator, the Sovereign Lord and the Disposer of All, … forbidden that God he is dissolved God does not dissolve himself or his attributes in one of his creatures being whoever he is.
