Political participation is one of the axes of the field of psychosocial sciences, which examines the positive role of the individual in political life through the right to vote or to vote in the elections or to take care of political issues and discuss them with others or membership in organizations.

And political participation The individual learns soft practices that help him to co-exist with others in society through the institutions of society, which helps this individual to coexist with this behavior.

Trying to studyExamine the relationship of political participation to the five major personal factors among different age groupsExamine the relationship of political participation to the five major personality factors in individuals from different environmentsThe sample of the study was selected in two stages.

In the first phase, a sample of 652 was applied.

After excluding random responses and missing responses, the study sample reached (550) male and female members (20-40 years) Urban - rural environment - coastal environment).

Tools were used: the scale of political participation - the list of major factors of personality.

The results of the study revealed a statistically significant correlation between the variables of political participation and the major factors of personality in the total sample (rural - urban - coastal) and the existence of a relationship between personality characteristics and political behavior.

And that individuals with a high degree of openness to experience, extrapolation, acceptability, living conscience and less in the nepotism are more oriented towards political participation than others.
