Globalization has led to the increase in and spread of crime among groups of people across the world.

On the other hand, the wide use of computers has created a revolution in the field of communication and information which benefitted mankind.

The internet has reduced geographical distances and broken cultural barriers, transferring the work into what is termed as "Information Society".

Unfortunately, terroristic organizations have misused these modern technological advancements and created new forms of cross-border crimes and terrorism that threatened the stability of the political regimes and the security of the international community.

It is for many reasons that such new criminal trend is described as a serious one.

Perpetrators can commit their crime easily and in no time and can destroy all evidences after committing their crime.

They often store any data related to their terroristic activities in electronic systems inside other foreign countries using remote communication networks.

This makes it very difficult to collect forensics and prove such type of crimes.

Therefore, the study has focused on various aspects of cyberterrorism.

Most important outcomes of the study included that countries have failed to give a unified definition for cyber terrorism, and that cyber terrorism has turned to be a threat to the international community, and that e-crimes have become an international crime such as the crimes of war, genocide and aggression
