This study sheds light on the Emirati Legislator position as to accepting the arbitrator's decisions that may help settle any arbitration dispute.

Arbitration in the UAE is currently governed by the new Arbitration Law No.

6 of 2018, while it was previously governed, in accordance with provisions from 203-2018 outlined in the Civil Procedure Code No.

11 of 1992.

Therefore, the study's main aim is to discuss in detail the current and previous legal position in the UAE on this issue to see whether or not there are any clear difference and radical changes.

Abiding by the arbitrator's rulings will be discussed based on both the general principle that the general principle that the arbitrator's decisions are absolutely authoritative, except that they can be challenged.

The possibility of appealing arbitrator's judgment has been elaborated upon by some legislators and restricted by others.
