Since antiquity the public prosecutor has specialized in overseeing the legitimaty of acts exercised by employees in public utilities and maintainy the state properties through fighting corruption.

The Iraqi legislature has sought to lay down a legal framework towared a specialized public prosecution entrusted with corruption fighting mission, and enjoy by limited powers called financial and administrative public prosecutor whose form is similar to investigation judges.

However, law dose not explain the nature of thise procedure and their legal value, hence, its necessary to show the nature of this office and power and jurisdiction granted to it.
