Abstract EN

The mistake had spread widely, threatening the honorable Arabic language, thus people read the Holy Quran not in the correct ways.

The mistake phenomenon had reached even rhetoricians and orators such as EL Hajaj, so many changes and modifications occurred.

Therefore, the efforts of the scholars interested in the the Arabic language went to fight the Mistake and limit its spread.

So books and corpus in this issue were written, such as books of liguistics and grammar, linguistic correction, as well as the grammatical corpus and systems, and finally books fighting common mistakes and “say and don't say” books in the modern era.

In this research, I have introduced some of these valuable efforts made by our ancient scholars, focusing the study on the book "Mistake of the Commoners" by Abu Bakr Al-Zubaidi.
