has become known, in the past and in the present, that Al-Tawhidi represented the extension of al-Jahzi in prose writing, which promoted researchers to make long comparisons between the two writers at the methodological level and even on the intellectual level, and they called al-Tawhidi by al-Jahiz al-Thani, in this research we will try to collect these researches to see to what extent Al-Tawhidi was able to represent Al-Jahzi in his prose writings, indicating the amount of impact he left on him and on his writings, dealing with that in his books about Al-Jahiz and his rhetoric, and comparing them with the writings of ancient scholars, based on the most important studies of contemporaries who dealt with Al-Jahiz and Al-Tawhidi.
