Abstract EN

This paper is an attempt to supply a deep conception on the scientific and cognitive bases which contributed to found the cognitive approach of language introduced by the American linguist Ronald Langacker in his book “Cognitive Grammar: a Basic Introduction”.

This last is considered very important in the Western linguistics, particularly in the field of the cognitive linguistics owing to the prominent impact it has left on the language studies, especially in the cognitive side thanks to the scientific method used to deal with the topic.
