Abstract EN

This research presents a semiotic analysis of a poem written by “Muhammad Al-Eid Al Khalifa”.

Namely, it seeks to identify the methodological visions and procedural tools of the semiotic approach in dealing with poetic discourse and in measuring the extent to which its presence in the Algerian critical scene is remarkable.

This study concludes that the semiotic analysis is of a paramount importance, because it does not stop, when referring to knowledge, and does not end in a specific connotation.

On the contrary, it opens the text to a stream of knowledge within a specific strategy, whose aim is to interrogate texts in the light of their epistemological contexts in order to identify the basic structures of the poetic text.
