Sayyed Murtadha Al-Wahab is regarded as one prominent modern poet among his poetry generation in Karbala keeping up with the literary restoration at his time.

Critically, he is seen as a voluminous and vehemently and lively emotional poet well skilled in depiction.

He is very responsive to the social, political and cultural concerns of his era; the fifties and sixties of the 20 th century.

Uncovering his poetry reveals that he has used all poetry intents.

Yet, he has employed some intents skillfully and distinctivelyThis paper is divided into (prelude, introduction, two main sections, and conclusions).
